Welcome to the 2014-15 school year! We are so excited about the upcoming school year and the events. The Parent Association is a vital group that supports our teachers and staff and connects our parents through volunteer opportunities, fundraising and social events. It is our goal to help build a strong and active community of family support. Whether you are a new or returning parent, all parents are members of the OGM Parent Association, and we are looking forward to working with you!
The PA’s responsibilities and events include:
- Building Community: Monday Morning Muffins, Fall Parent Social/Annual Meeting, Hibernation Festival, Winter Solstice Celebration, Pajamas and Pancakes (Read Across America Day), end of the year BBQ
- Fundraising: Fun Night Annual Fundraiser, Silent Auction/Gala, bulb fundraiser
- Volunteer Activities: Community outreach, field trip drivers, classroom activities, playground clean up days
The PA meetings are held each month during the school year. All parents are encouraged to attend. PA meetings are a great way to meet other families, stay informed about school happenings, and to get involved. We also have many guest speakers planned throughout the year.
